JARRYD JAMES AND MEG MAC ANNOUNCE CO-HEADLINE TOUR

Two of this year's most exciting breakthrough artists, Jarryd James and Meg Mac, are hitting the road together this December for a series of co-headlining shows across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. 2015 has been a momentous time for both artists, and Australian audiences will be lucky enough to witness them on the same bill - surely one of the hottest tickets this summer.

JARRYD JAMES
"there’s no telling what will come next for the budding star" - PopMatters

Following two smash-hit singles earlier in the year ('Give Me Something' and 'Do You Remember' - the highest-selling Australian single of the year, certified double platinum with over 15 million streams on Spotify alone), Jarryd James launched his debut album Thirty One this month to critical acclaim - the album entered the ARIA charts at #2, and was awarded triple j Feature Album week of release. The Brisbane local has since been wowing fans nationally and beyond, including sell-out headline shows in Europe, US support for American singer/songwriter Meg Myers and UK support for global star Tove Lo.

MEG MAC
"one of pop music’s most exciting new talents."  - Idolator

Meg Mac has similarly enjoyed the international spotlight this year. Having spent most of 2015 in the States writing her forthcoming album, D'Angelo and the Vanguard invited Meg to join them on their coast-to-coast North American tour, adding huge reach to her already steady fanbase. Her Memphis-inspired soul has generated overwhelming critical acclaim: triple j named Meg Mac 'Unearthed Artist of the Year' in 2014 and she scored three songs in the Hottest 100, and her latest single 'Never Be' debuted at number one on the AIR chart.

The two will be joined by Kita Alexander, a 19-year-old making waves in her own right. Working alongside movers and shakers such as Nick Littlemore(PNAU/Empire of the Sun) and Chris Braide (writer/producer to Sia, Beyonce, Lana Del Rey, Halsey), expect big things to come from the teen behind triple j-fave 'My Own Way'.
